The QuickQ guide

🪟 Windows

• Get the Windows installer from the download center
• Run the installer and follow the prompts
• If the firewall blocks it, allow QuickQ through Windows Defender Firewall

🍎 macOS

• Download and open the macOS dmg
• Drag QuickQ into the Applications folder
• If macOS warns about an unidentified developer, allow it in Settings → Privacy & Security

📱 iOS / iPadOS

• Search for QuickQ in the App Store
• Allow QuickQ to add a VPN profile in Settings
• Sign in inside the app and connect

🤖 Android

• Download the Android APK from the site or an app store
• Allow installs from this source if prompted about unknown sources
• Grant VPN permission on first connect

🐧 Linux

• Get the Linux package from the download center (Ubuntu and similar)
• Follow the docs for CLI or GUI setup

🧭 Browser extension

• Install the QuickQ extension from your browser store
• Sign in to accelerate browser traffic only

Tuned for Steam, Epic and LoL global servers; switch to "Game" mode to enable the dedicated UDP protocol.

Dedicated bandwidth for Netflix, Disney+, HBO and YouTube in 4K — pick an unblocking node and press play.

Choose a node near the game server or a native streaming node, then switch to game or streaming mode.

🔄 Recover quickly from instability

Try in order: switch to a backup node → change protocol → diagnose the route with ping / traceroute.

🛡️ Keep OneDrive on the local network

Exclude OneDrive in "Smart routing" so it syncs directly over your local connection.

🖥️ Proxy a single program

Set http_proxy / https_proxy temporarily in a terminal session so only that window and its children use the proxy.
